I had seen the Edinburgh Fringe Festival on TV when I was a child and had always wanted to go someday. I never thought that I would be the one who would be on the performing side of the festival.
It was my first burlesque experience to perform two performances at completely different venues in a short time, and it helped me to improve myself.
The position of headliner is a very important one, as it is the last one to wrap up the various colorful works that will conclude the performance. I am grateful to the @chazroyalproducer and @bettyroseroyal who entrusted me with such a tense position for the nine performances.
This experience was truly invaluable. I was so disappointed that I had no choice but to decline because of the Corona last time, so I was determined to make it this year! So I felt a sense of tightness in my chest on the last day of the festival.
Tickets were sold out every day and people from all over the world gave their support. If I get a chance, I want to come back next year.
小さい頃からいつか行ってみたいと思っていたフェスティバル。まさか自分が演じる側でこの地に足を下ろすなんて思ってもみませんでした。
1日2公演、数日連続でというのは、ショーパブ時代依頼。（もちろん劇場勤務時代はマチネと夜のショーみたいな感じで出演することはありましたが。）
ヘッドライナーという立ち位置は、その公演の締めくくり。色々なカラーの作品たちを最後に総括するとても重要なポジション。そんな緊張感のあるポジションを9公演任せてくれたディレクターたちに感謝です。
本当にこの経験はかけがえのないものになりました。前回コロナの事もありお断りするしかなかった悔しさもあり、今年は絶対に！という思いがあったので、最終日は胸を締め付けられるような感覚でした。
連日ソールドアウトで、世界中の方々からのエールが飛び交う劇場。チャンスがあったら、来年もまた戻って来たいです。
